Healing Pain with Self Compassion and Kindness

It can be useful to notice what happens in the body when self judgement or fear arises in the mind. When the mind is alert to potential threats, including threats within our own bodies, naturally the nervous system kicks into high gear and our body braces for action. The healing journey can include shifting your focus from trying to figure out what you did or didn’t do, to noticing and possibly even allowing what is here to be here, just as it is.
